Philippe Marlière
Academic

Philippe Marlière is a professor of French and European Politics at University College London. He was awarded the Chair Marcel Liebman at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2007. He was educated in France and completed a PhD dissertation at the European University Institute in Florence in 2000. Philippe was also a researcher for the state-run Centre National pour la Recherche Scientifique.

Paola Mattei

Paola is Associate Professor in Comparative Social Policy and Fellow of the European Studies Centre, St Antony's College. She joined the Department in April 2010, having previously held academic appointments at the London School of Economics, Bremen University and Mannheim University. She has been Visiting Fellow at Sciences Po, Paris, and Visiting Fellow at the Department of Political Science.

Michael is the former head of the European Parliament Information Office in the UK.Having worked in the EU for over 30 years, he has published widely about the European institutions as well as other Community topics. In addition, he was responsible for the creation of the European Parliament web TV channel, known as europarlTV, which was launched in 2008.
